The organic dairy on Hindrum is a locally owned and operated by the organic farmers Lise Mathiesen and Frode Hindrum. They make many different kinds of cheese of own produced organic non-pasteurized cow-milk.
Please feel free to visit the dairy. It will only take about 10 min to walk there from the fjordsenter. The cheese is for sale at the farm but, also at the Fjordsenter.
Types of cheese they make is tilsiter, cheddar aged 6-25 months, porter cheddar ( marinated in in organic porter ), IPA Jack ( American Jack marinated in organic IPA ), Cheshire and Feta Cheese
