Mandatory reporting

All catches made through registered tourist fishing businesses in Norway must be reported digitally. Reporting is done daily – including zero catch.

This applies to cod, halibut, coalfish, redfish and wolffish. Fish that are released must also be registered.

How to report

  • Register your catch after each fishing trip
  • Enter species and number of fish
  • Register zero catch if nothing was caught
  • Catches must be registered before export documentation can be issued

At Hindrum Fjordsenter, reporting is done through the approved platform FishReg.
