Sea fishing

Trondheimsfjorden is Norway’s third longest fjord, stretching 126 kilometers through the heart of Trøndelag. It is known for having the highest biological productivity of all Norwegian fjords, home to both northern and southern species. Over 140 marine species have been observed here – including at least 90 different types of fish.

Freshwater fishing

If you’re feeling adventurous, head into the mountains to fish in scenic alpine lakes. Fishing licenses are available at the reception, where you’ll also receive maps, local tips, and everything you need for a rewarding day in nature.

Tourist sea fishing regulations

Whether you’re a local or visiting from abroad, all sea anglers in Norway must follow national fishing regulations. Click the button below to learn more.
